Dedicated to the Wellness of Each Client
Counseling for Individuals and Groups
Say “Aloha” to Evidence-Based Therapeutic Treatment
Our holistic approach to therapy is based on the connection between mind, body and spirit — we call this the “Aloha Model of Inclusion.” By helping you understand and address your underlying issues, we promote awareness and acceptance of the self. Our experiential exercises allow you to practice new communication styles, behavior modification and full integration. As you gain more awareness over your underlying issues, the veil of resistance decreases and you become open to more human connection, which allows you to improve your relationships with others.
Among the conditions we treat most in individuals and families are:
Do you or your child worry excessively? Do you understand why you are worried? Is racism, sexism or ageism contributing to your anxiety? Do you suffer from other mental health conditions? Our professionals analyze your symptoms and determine the best coping mechanisms to help you handle your anxiety.
Are you or your child sad? Do you feel empty and hopeless about the future? Did you know that the way you think about your culture, gender or age may affect the way you experience depression? If you find dealing with your daily life difficult, let the DivaDiversity professionals provide the treatment you need.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Have you, your spouse, or child suffered a traumatic event? People of all backgrounds experience PTSD after combat, natural disasters, personal tragedy or prejudicial events. We help Individuals with PTSD process painful emotions and memories, so they regain control over their lives.
Are you experiencing a group of symptoms, such as anxiety, depressed mood, disturbance of emotions and conduct, or a combination of these conditions? Individuals of all age groups and backgrounds can experience adjustment disorder, which is an emotional or behavioral reaction to a stressful event or change in a person’s life. If you need support, let DivaDiversity professionals help you with your life transitions.
