Ms. Caban is a Clinical Supervisor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (38244). She earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from John F. Kennedy University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her experience includes an adjunct faculty position at John F. Kennedy University, teaching and training Master’s level graduate students in diversity awareness, law and ethics, and expressive arts modalities.
Most recently, Ms. Caban worked as Clinical Director of a federally qualified health center, where she continued to train and develop pre-licensed therapists working with underserved populations in east San Jose, California.
Her integration of clinical work with academia encompasses the depth and knowledge of her more than 18 years of experience in providing mental health services to children, adults, families, couples and groups. Ms. Caban is highly regarded for her work as Program Director at John F. Kennedy University, where she managed the school-based counseling program, the Sunnyvale Counseling Center and the annual Expressive Arts Therapy summer camps, which was her labor of love.
