Ms. Castaneda is a compassionate clinician with knowledge of mental health symptoms and management through the use of therapy. She works well with treatment teams, other clinical psychologists and therapists. She works under the supervision of Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Michele Lei Caban (38244).
Ms. Castaneda obtained her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Palo Alto University and is working toward Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Law Enforcement and a minor in Psychology from the University of California at Stanislaus. She previously completed Associate degrees in Liberal Arts and Science.
Ms. Castaneda is resourceful, accomplished and dedicated. She has been a law enforcement professional with experience investigating criminal cases and interrogating suspected individuals, where her capacity to deliver results in high-pressure situations was evident. She is a highly motivated and experienced individual with skills in research and analysis, business operations and client support.
Ms. Castaneda speaks Spanish and English. She enjoys interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and learning about each fascinating culture and how to best integrate all of her previous experience in law enforcement and research analysis with her clinical work.
