Ms. Menard is a proud social worker who is passionate about working in the mental health field. Mrs. Menard is licensed in both California and Massachusetts. She obtained her Master of Social Work from San Jose State University. She has worked in a variety of social service inpatient/outpatient, residential, hospital, private practice and college counseling center settings. She practices from a solution focused, advanced multi-systemic perspective, integrating multiple therapeutic techniques, interventions and theories in order to best meet the needs of the individuals she is working with.
Ms. Menard feels her role is to assist and support others in their paths towards wellness. She strives to provide a culturally affirming supportive space to validate the experiences and identities of all individuals she works with. She considers herself an inclusive therapist and feels strongly about dismantling structural systems of oppression while actively working towards decolonizing mental health. Ms. Menard specializes in depressive, adjustment and anxiety disorders, stress reduction, caretaker burnout and women’s issues.
